JOB TITLE- Plant Operator
We are looking to hireaPlant Operators to join our team in New Haven, CT. This position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and controlling process equipment and performing mechanical maintenance throughout the water pollution control plant.This is a full time position with benefits and performance bonuses offered. Overtime offered and paid weekly.
Reliability and team work are a non-negotiable!
Some general duties required:
Changing belts, oil changes in gearboxes, handling receipt of supply shipments,
They will maintain records of plant operations including hourly operating data, plant violations, and abnormal operating conditions
They will perform fire guard duty as well as confined space watch.
They will Perform any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the facility to include sweeping, shoveling, and other housekeeping activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
NO experience necessary! Ideal candidates will be okay with working in a very dirty/smelly environment, be able to work hands on and be taught how to do the job. Must be open to all shifts.
