We are seeking Traveling Superintendent to become part of our team!
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and manage the on-site construction team and coordinate and oversee al work.
Attend and lead production meetings with all vendors, subcontractors, owners, etc.
Review and communicate construction schedule and budgets and ensure projects is on schedule and within budget.
Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness.
Maintain records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.
Communicate project information and progress via written and oral to owners, project managers and office personnel.
Requirements for this role include:
5-10+ years of experience in the carpentry trade and 2-6 years of supervisory experience with responsibility of direct and indirect labor.
Must be able and willing to work out of town for multiple weeks in a row and travel 100% of time. Flexible work schedule and be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts.
Must have advanced knowledge of multiple trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection including hands on rough to finish carpentry.
Strong supervision and leadership skills.
Customer service driven and focused with high work standards.
Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and schematics,
Strong computer skills and ability to use smart phones.
Certified on operation of forklifts and other lift equipment.
