[Contracts Manager] Need 2 Change/Claims Managers For 4-6 month job

1.A minimum of 15 years’ experience in a commercial and or contracts management capacity; managing complex work packages and contracts on semiconductor, wafer or high-tech infrastructure projects.

Professional Competencies:

1. Understanding the basic principles of commercial management (e.g, entitlement / causation / quantification of costs or damages / verify cost and pricing data).
2. Demonstrable understanding of engineering and construction contracts and familiarity with claims avoidance and dispute resolution processes.

Key Duties
1.Review technical and non-technical documentation (construction schedules, technical drawings, reports, correspondence, financial data, etc) to (i) identify key details (ii) analyze facts and evidence
(iii) prepare summary reports.
2.Review contemporaneous records to identify trends, anomalies, and other details which led to cost and schedule overruns, including apportionment of time and cost.

3.Audit change orders or cost claims assessing rates and hours in conjunction with the contract to determine (i) equitable adjustments and (ii) final accounts.

4.Audit records, certification of claims, verification of pricing, applying prevailing rates and or percentages, ensuring consistency with back-up data, including amongst others, certified payroll.

5.Review of change orders and claims and preparation of rebuttals or counterclaims in respect of valuation of works, extension of time (extended general conditions, loss and expense, damages, etc).

6.Support the Commercial Manager in the drafting of all relevant correspondence (contentious and non- contentious) and maintain records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all contract related matters.

7.Facilitate the contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final payment to contractors.

8.Identify the best approach to individual work packages to assist project team and business unit in attaining a desired commercial resolution.


1. Degree (BSc/MSc) in Construction related discipline (Quantity Surveying / Construction Management).
2. Membership of a relevant professional construction body (RICS, CIArb, CIOB).
