Quality Control Manager

Perini Management Services, Inc. (PMSI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation specializing in design-build construction for U.S. federal agencies, both within and outside the continental United States. We also provide construction services for U.S. multi-national firms and select foreign governments. We are known for our ability to execute complex construction projects within aggressive schedules and to a high level of quality.

Responsibilities

PMSI is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Control Manager for our Camp Lejeune, NC projects. Some duties include but are not limited to:

• Implement and maintain the approved Contractor Quality Control Plan.
• Develop understanding/working knowledge of company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, etc. required to perform assigned work.
• Review, comment upon and control submittal process
• Perform quality control inspections and witness tests to determine acceptability of work.
• Schedule and coordinate QA inspectors with Owner’s Rep.
• Create and maintain work performance records, inspection records and other related items; assure correctness of all documents.
• Prepare and implement quality control procedures, i.e., inspection instructions, control measuring and test equipment, etc.
• Participate in internal/external quality control audits.
• Review purchase documents to insure compliance with quality control requirements.
• Inspect and inventory material shipments for compliance
• Insure progress by proactively address Q.C. issues.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Quality Control.
• CQM certification up to date from USACE
• 10 years’ construction industry on-site experience, including Quality Control responsibility

Employment Conditions

• Position based in Camp Lejeune, NC.
