Our Client, a Fortune 500 A/E Firm, is looking to add a "Construction Superintendent" who is acting as a Field Engineer / Construction Coordinator on the JFK Airport project. You will have oversight of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of the project.
Location: JFK Airport, Cargo Building 22A, Jamaica, NY 11430
Pay rate/spread: $35-45/hour
Per Diem: No
Project: JFK Airport Cargo, reports to Manhattan office
Schedule: M-F, on-site
Mechanical /Electrical /Plumbing construction superintendent acting as the field engineer and construction coordinator for Burns & McDonnell interfacing with the client and construction management team for the construction of airport facilities. Position will require inspection of work performed, communicating with the client and the client’s construction management for construction needs, and interfacing with engineering for answering requests for information, confirming changed conditions and transfer of information. The role will also include reporting of project status, organizing meetings and calls between parties.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 7 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience in a similar facility. Position requires excellent communications skills and supervisory skills of field construction personnel.
