Location: Monroe, NC
Pay: Starting at $100k (depending on experience)

Job Duties/Essential Functions:
• Responsible for working with the President to achieve annual revenue and profitability goals for the Charlotte Area Market
• Leadership of the Triangle Structural Engineering and Field Technician team in executing daily/weekly/monthly service production plans that complete work on time/on budget and result in satisfied customers
• Build and maintain a structural engineering and field technician organization through the disciplined hiring, training, and development of individual team members.
• Establish and maintain standard work processes and tools that support best practices execution of structural engineering plans and field inspection activities
• Achieve targeted Revenue and expense budgets monthly for the Charlotte Structural Engineering and Field Services departments - with a net target margin of 12%
• Review current job position responsibilities and document performance objectives and make recommendations for changes as necessary
• Effectively participate as a member of the Engineering and Design, PA leadership team collaborating with the President, peers, and employees to build long term plans to grow the business
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
• 9+ years of working in an Engineering type position in a small to medium firm.
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering and/or field technician management positions
• North Carolina PE licensed
• CAD skill set and ability to train others in CAD
• Experience hiring, training, and developing engineers and field technicians
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy SOP’s/Task Checklist utilized for
training and scaling a technical organization
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Residential (or other Wood Framed) Structural Engineering and Field Services Engineering work
• Strong, professional presentation and communication skills.
