Pay: $70,000 - $100,000 (Based on project size experience)

Job Summary:

Automatic is seeing an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our well-established client in Central Indiana. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and management of commercial construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will supervise and lead construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
Review project documents and specifications, identifying any potential issues or conflicts.
Establish and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction crews.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet quality standards.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures and protocols.
Document and communicate quality concerns to relevant stakeholders.
Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors and project teams to review progress and address concerns.
Develop and implement effective solutions to overcome project-related issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent for a general contractor.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, methods, and materials.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with construction management software and tools is a plus.
OSHA certification and other relevant certifications are preferred.
Valid driver's license.
