We are looking for a Project Controls Analyst in Augusta, GA.
The Project Controls Analyst should have 5+ years' experience creating, tracking, and recording Construction Cost Plans and Analysis.

Pay is DOE starting at $80,000 per year. Per diem is available for qualified travelers and is paid on a weekly basis.


Job Duties:
Create, document, monitor and communicate project costs in correlation to milestones and risk.
Participate in project status meetings, collect progress data and revise project plan as needed.
Create, maintain, and update monthly forecast budgets.
Prepare various cost reports and maintain forecast accuracy.
Prepare project performance analysis, cost, and schedule status reports.
Ensure responses to budget and cost requests reflect correct project cost information.
Input data into various programs and prepare various cost and forecasting reports.
Verify project cost and schedule milestones were/were not attained and provide input to identify future process or business improvements and work with responsible parties to implement.
Maintain scope change, contingency release, change order, and journal entry logs.
Maintain written and electronic project documentation and records tracking for required aspects of the project.
Provide Project Manager with monthly report of project costs and/or schedule information, including variance analysis according to an agreed upon level of detail and prioritization.
Provide Project Team members with current status report containing schedule and cost information.
Prepare various monthly and weekly project performance reports, budget and cycle forecast reports and finance status reports.
Coordinate and summarize project cycle forecast variance explanations.
Analyze financial results on a monthly basis, providing explanations of significant cost drivers.
Participates in pre/post project design meeting and attends customer/site coordination meetings, as applicable.
Provides support to Project Managers when orders have been received to assist in maintaining and/or improving project margins.
Qualifications:
Proficient in reading and understanding Engineering, Architectural, Structural, and Electrical diagrams, plans and contract schedules/timelines.
Advanced understanding of Electrical systems and their interface.
Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Adobe, and Primavera P6.
Effective written and oral communications.
Ability to work a full-time schedule.
Demonstrated experience in estimating/pricing, cost control, tracking, and project management.
Experience developing and maintaining budget/expenditures, cost controls, tracking and progress to reflect projected vs. actual and earned hours for project schedule and timeline.
