Job Description

The Concrete Foreman will oversee all concrete-related activities for a large-scale data center project. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in concrete construction, and the ability to manage crews, schedules, and quality standards in a high-compliance environment. The foreman ensures that all work meets project specifications, safety regulations, and deadlines.

Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate all concrete operations, including formwork, pouring, finishing, and curing.
* Interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
* Plan and schedule daily tasks, labor allocation, and equipment usage.
* Inspect work for compliance with design and safety standards.
* Monitor concrete mix consistency, placement, and finishing techniques.
* Address defects and implement corrective measures promptly.
* Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
* Conduct daily safety briefings and hazard assessments.
* Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to environmental regulations.
* Estimate and order materials, tools, and equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of labor hours, material usage, and progress reports.
* Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of concrete and related materials.
* Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety.
* Resolve conflicts and maintain high morale on site.
* Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other trades.
* Operate and maintain concrete equipment (trowels, screeds, laser levels).
* Ensure proper grading, reinforcement placement, and form alignment.
* Apply curing compounds and finishing techniques as per specifications.

Essential Skills
* 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, formwork systems, and finishing methods.
* Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
* Experience running crews of 20+ and able to work alongside them as a working foreman.
* Experience with concrete form carpentry.
* Experience on large construction projects, preferably data center construction.
* OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/CPR.
* Proficiency with laser leveling equipment and estimation software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Familiarity with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
* Understanding of data center construction requirements.

This is a Contract position based out of El Paso, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.60 - $55.10/hr.
