Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the engineers to develop job scope for projects. Review and organize design packages to support EPC bid process, design reviews and project finance. Compile commercial documents with oversite from the Project Engineer to support RFQ process
Primary responsibilities:
• Assist engineers as they develop design packages, develop POs.
• Review design packages and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement
• Assist in scope of work development.
• Prepare and conduct design reviews.
• Maintains records and files of all completed engineering work. Required Knowledge, abilities and Skills
• Possesses background knowledge in engineering.
• Works well on a team.
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.
• Exhibits strong organizational skills.
Education The engineering technician must holds a high school diploma and an Associate's Degree in Engineering.
A Bachelor's Degrees in one of the engineering disciplines (Electrical, Civil or Mechanical) will be advantageous.
Some prior work experience in the wind industry either as an intern or full-time employee.
