Project Administrator

Location: Louisville, CO

Length: 4-6 Month Contract to hire

Start: ASAP


Job Description:

This would be entry level moving into a PM role.

Candidate needs to be very detail oriented and organized. Someone with Construction Admin experience preferably with a hands on construction background. Doing admin for 6 PM's with 15-20 projects each.

Project Administrator

Construction documents form the core of any project. Without them, work cannot be done, and contractors cannot get paid. Documents serve as the critical evidence to support or dispute any claims.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage and oversee documents for over 25 projects and 4-6 project managers.
Participate in weekly project meetings with Director of Construction, project managers, and engineers
Collaborate with project leads to establish proper document control procedures.
Ensure the proper documents are created and signed and all data is accurate and that documents are stored and backed up and any retention policies are followed.
Responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents.
Sort, file, store and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects or departments.
Assisting departments with queries on documentation requirements & submissions.
Support procurement purchase requisition document submissions
Manage document submittals for project financial transactions
Support creation of document packages for contractor request for proposal (RFP) solicitations
Administer the final assembly of construction contract documents and execution of contract signature pages
Support document assembly for internal project handoff from the construction team to operations department
Assist with document collection for contractor milestone submittals
Manage the internal form submissions for creating new vendors

Special Skills

Ability to prioritize, multitask and troubleshoot.

Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also essential.

Strong IT, database and utilize a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases.

A comprehensive understanding construction and health and safety regulations.

Able to react quickly and effectively when dealing with challenging situations.
