Established Utility scale solar construction company is seeking QA/QC Foreman/Manager that is able to travel for projects throughout the US.
Qualified candidate must have a background in utility scale solar
Performing QC at a management level.
Pay ranges from $42-45/hr depending on experience .
Most projects range from 10-50 MW.
This would be a long term opportunity that would start as a contract (through Aerotek) to hire direct as a permanent employee of the company.
* Has to be QAQC experience
* Needs to be willing to travel throughout the US without restrictions.
* Electrical background in Q/AQC & solar
* Experience using Microsoft Project
Because this position requires 100% Travel candidates can reside anywhere in the US.
Per Diem for all contract employees is $110 a day for days worked.
Reimbursements for fuel, mileage, flights, etc. will need to be submitted for approval.
QA/QC Foreman will be the right hand person for the project manager on the site. This person will also perform some of the following functions: doing walk downs around the site, reviewing contract or construction schedules, working with the mechanical and electrical contractors on the punch list items for the job site, working with QC to hold subs accountable to getting the site built ASAP, and handling any day to day meetings or tasks that the project manager cannot handle. This candidate must be able to jump into the job site and keep it running if the project manager is offsite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of leadership experience 2+ years of Solar experience 2+ years of mechanical or civil leadership or electrical leadership experience
