Gas Turbine Technician – Midland, TX

Our client a major upstream company is seeking for Gas Turbine Technician to work within their facilities located in Midland, TX on a 2-year contract
Summary

Gas turbine technician is responsible for repairing and perform maintenance on gas turbine engines.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshooting on faulted gas turbines, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems
• Experience with turbine engines
• Operating machinery, understanding electrical and mechanical aspects of the engines
• Inspecting the engines and components, work with blueprints and charts, and operate testing equipment.
• Working at large repair facilities or take part in additional training.

Qualifications
• High School education or equivalent.
• Preferable experience with Solar turbines
• 2 years’ experience with Compressors preferred
• Knowledgeable of different motors and compressors – electric motors, cat engines
• Solid working knowledge of surface separation equipment.
• Valid operator’s license with clean driving record.
• Good verbal and written skills a plus.
