HSE Legal Compliance Auditor

Job Responsibilities
Determine compliance with legal requirements for wind, solar and battery HSE regulations. 
Ensure evidence of compliance with HSE requirements is uploaded into the legal registers.
Ensure non-compliance of HSE legal requirements is uploaded in the corrective action system.
Partner with HSE Supervisors to ensure overall HSE legal compliance.
Review HSE gap assessments conducted at projects to determine level of compliance with regulations.
Support the US HSE legal compliance Lead with coordinating compliance verification strategy.
Perform HSE compliance assessments and audit for all US onshore sites.
Identify non-compliance with HSE legal requirements and input them into our corrective action system.
Input HSE legal compliance evidence into the legal register system
Work with local QHSE supervisors to coordinate schedules for onsite audits.
 
Qualifications

Academic or technical background, e.g., BSc in an Occupational Q / HSE and/or engineering type field
Experience with Environmental management in an construction, operations or offshore environment
IT literate (Microsoft office package)
Completed OSHA general industry training, Construction certificate or ASP/CSP level, or similar recognized (Q)HSE qualification an advantage.
Minimum 5-10 years certified and/or documented auditing experience:
Working with certified management systems
Knowledge of audit principles, practices and techniques
Audit-management skills
