Looking for a highly-motivated Contracts Administrator with knowledge of Government (preferably DOE) and commercial proposal and contract administration processes. Will work under senior-level Contracts Director to manage several bid and proposal efforts and perform routine contract administrative activities. Applicant must have proficient computer skills with preferred knowledge of Share Point, Word, and Excel.
Candidates must have the ability to:
Collaborate with Business Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to navigate through the Contract Admin Life Cycle (Proposals to Closeouts).
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Interpret and negotiate standard Contract Terms and Conditions.
Monitor all contract deadlines, prepare small business plans, reporting requirements, etc.
Work to Company Contract Policies and Procedures.
Multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skill.
Bachelor's degree in an applicable major with 5 years of contracts-related experience.
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a working knowledge of Word and Excel required.
Individuals must have the ability to function with minimal assistance and oversight; must be a self-directed learner capable of research, objective analysis and evaluation to form judgements and develop solutions to contract issues.
