Heavy Equipment Mechanics (JP-001981797)

We are hiring a team of experienced Mechanics or Automotive Techs to work on a sizeable suspension upgrade project with full Kit change-outs converting 100+ Bradley fighting vehicles at Fort Stewart, GA.

Candidates will be removing and installing components for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle to include operating and inspecting machines or equipment, dismantling and reassembling equipment, and testing overhauled equipment to insure proper orientation.

1+ years of Automotive experience, and while Military vehicle experience is a plus, its not required. No Bradley or track vehicle experience required, and the team will train.

Heavy lifting requirements of 50+ lbs in a fast paced environment with safety personnel and COVID restrictions in place.

Must provide current, valid State issued Driver's License (from any state), Proof of driver's insurance, and current, up-to-date car registration.

Skills:

suspension work, tire or fluid changes in automotive environment, parts installation, mechanical aptitude, hand tools, power tools.

Top Skills Details:

Mechanical maintenance on vehicles of any kind, Automotive Technician or Mechanic experience with Inspection. Must be open to road testing vehicles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Candidates must have 1 year of experience working on Wheeled Vehicles or Track vehicles. Candidates must have a valid state drivers license, valid car insurance and valid state registration. Must be able to use hoists and hand or power tools.

Entry to Intermediate+
