General Description:

The Plant Maintenance Supervisor over seeing Maintenance that reports to the Facility Manager and has primary responsibility for providing engineering support to the assigned facility.

Skills Required:

Must be able to move from place to place to all areas of production.

Must be able to climb ladders or platforms and enter confined spaces.

10 to 15 Years Maintenance Supervisory Experience

5 + years of experience in general plant safety.

Knowledge of confined space entry, lockout/tag out, and burn permit requirements is essential.

Must have experience with Plant Safety Management (PSM) practices, specifically Management of Change(MOC)

MS Office, SAP


Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare preliminary cost estimates, project proposals and capital expenditure requests.

Project and process engineering (productivity, cost reduction, product consistency, etc.)skills/experience.

Provide input to Facility Manager, on decisions regarding new equipment or systems, system upgrades and repairs that exceed $1,000.

Optimize existing processes to provide consistently uniform, high quality products at the lowest cost.

Identify and implement innovative new process technology.

Manage assigned projects, completing on time and within budget.


Education/Training/Certifications:

BS Chemical or Mechanical Degree Required .
