Job Title: Field Service Technician
Shift: Day (5:00am - 2:00pm)
Location: Sacramento area
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This is a direct hire position (no contract phase). Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3+ years' experience with electro-mechanical maintenance in a field service capacity or manufacturing / processing facility. Successful candidate will repair and maintain installed equipment and perform preventive maintenance visits. Equipment will include but not limited to: conveyor systems and automated overhead racks along with the motors, gear boxes, pumps and belt systems.
We are seeking a candidate that is knowledge with both mechanical and electrical components. Candidates must be able to Analyze, evaluate, and diagnose equipment problems independently. The ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues is a must. This role will be expected to wire 3 phase motors and (12v and 24v control wiring for motors that power the conveyor lines.) Must be experienced with running diagnostics tests. Experience with electronics is highly preferred: replacing circuit boards. Knowledge of PLC's troubleshooting and or programming is preferred as well but not required. Training will be provided
Candidates must have their own basic hand tools i.e.: wrenches, screw-drivers Test equipment and control tools will be provided. Must be able to perform technical documentation of repair / maintenance records. Must be comfortable climbing a ladder to perform repairs when necessary.
Candidates must have a clean driving record as a company vehicle will be provided after the training period. This role will cover a territory within the Sacramento area. Training period will be for a minimum of 1 month. This will give you the opportunity to work with supervisors and other mechanics in the field as well as in the shop.
