Machine Operator (JP-001975217)

The Machine Operator must have basic knowledge of equipment operation, troubleshooting, change overs and preventative maintenance of manufacturing line equipment. In this role, the Manufacturing Operator must have operational knowledge of how his/her actions and decisions will impact financial, quality and safety metrics; understanding and adhering to plant operating procedures and guidelines, and complies with regulatory requirements in his/ her area of responsibility. The Line owner must be able to independently perform most assignments and train new temporary workers in the area.

Daily routine:

- Conduct shift pass off with previous person owning the line

- Clean, inspect and lubricate machine (takes 10 mins)

- Check "infinity" database for what must be produced during the shift.

- Start machine and begin to work to produce # of cases that be hit

- Follow an SOP and perform change overs on machine when switching from one product to another.

- They will be working with carton erectors, case erectors and filler machines.

- Will own responsibilities/errors for their line

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have at least 1 year of machine operations within the last 5 years. If experience is longer than 5 years ago, they must have at least 2 years of experience as a machine operator.
