CNC Machinist responsible for setup of machines, program edits, change overs, tooling offsets, tool changes, production runs and first part inspection. Writing programs is an engineering function, but this person will be responsible for editing on occasion. This person will do about 12 setups per year or 1 per month. They have mills, lathes, swiss and grinders. They are cool with people diversifying what machines they run and/or specializing. They want someone with an ownership mindset who feels "responsible" for their product. They also want someone who is tidy/clean with their work station. They inspect their parts to +/- 3 microns. Hours: 5 positions on 2nd shift: 7:30pm - 6am. They typically work 5-6 days per week. Due to how busy they are and understaffed they are working 7's right now. Once they fill up their 2nd shift the hours should come back down. 0-40 hours straight time, 41-56 hours is 1.5 pay and 57+ is double time.
