Facilitate/Support the gauge recall and calibration process.
Perform Dock Audits and
Box Audits per checklist
Perform the inspections
of purchased parts and finished goods
Support Quality Engineers
and Product Development by performing part layouts for PPAP test and
troubleshooting
Program and operate the
coordinate-measuring machines
Write purchased part
inspection plans and process level 3 procedures
Perform/Support gauge
repeatability and reproducibility studies (GR&R)
Participate in
cross-functional problem solving activities
Lead and document the results
of the Material Review Board Process (MRB).
Perform dimensional
layout for PPAP and Engineering tests.
Facilitate containment
activities of finished goods, work in progress, and raw components
Other projects and
responsibilities as required
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate Degree in a
technical field and/or 1-2 years equivalent related work experience preferred
Familiarity with
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
Ability to interpret
component and assembly design drawings preferred
Ability to
understand/interpret technical specifications, standards and procedures
preferred
Strong bench inspection
and layout skills preferred
Understanding of surface
texture measurement and related parameter preferred
Process, product and/or
quality systems auditing experience preferred
Familiarization with
statistical methods and applications preferred
Familiarization with
ISO/TS16949 preferred
Strong interpersonal and
communication skills preferred
Basic knowledge of
Microsoft Office Software preferred

Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not
limited to; eye safety glasses and steel toe shoes
Ability to tolerate moderate to loud noise, below 80 DBA (hearing protection
