Shipping & Receiving Handler 3 (JP-001981018)

PURPOSE: Responsible for shipping and receiving of materials and the management of associated documentation, processing receipts into the MRP system, material handling, as well as general tasks as needed. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES: Receive material and process into designated systems - data entry into MRP system Prepare materials/paperwork for Metrology as needed. Use a checklist as items are kitted to ensure kit accuracy Understand part flow and stocking process Pull required kits to support builds as needed Process unused parts back into store room Be able to lift 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds Under general supervision may audit kits for accuracy and take inventory of stored items through cycle counting Physical preparation of shipments along with associated paperwork REQUIRED Basic Qualifications (must have skills): HS DIPLOMA OR GED 1-2 Years Exp. Detail oriented, good written and oral communication skills, proficient in Excel and Outlook, data entry experience, quick learner and self-starter Requires ability to operate copier/scanner, data entry equipment, spreadsheet software, electronic scales, pallet jacks and to perform cycle counts and kitting. Typically requires addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * HazMat Certification * Familiarity with Trade Compliance * Ability to drive 26' box truck 8-4:30 p.m.
