Aerotek is looking for Automation Technicians to support packaging and processing areas of a company in Unilever. STRONG PLC skills are a must. If they don't have some of the other qualifications, they are willing to teach them. This position is the last line of defense when a technician cannot figure out the problem.
Proficiency with RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, RSlogix 500 & Factory Talk STUDIO ME software platforms (Will consider other PLC brands and Series)
Assembling/wiring and configuring all flavors of Rockwell PLCs, Dual-Channel Safety Circuits and Components, HMIs, Variable Frequency Drives,
Strong understanding of Ethernet/IP Embedded Switch Technology
Working Knowledge of NEC, NEMA/IP standards
Working on Plant Conveying Technologies, control valves, electrical distribution, and/or industrial instrumentation for flow, level, pressure and temperature.
Experience with Factory Talk Batch & CIP circuits in a food manufacturing environment.
Reading and following electrical and maintenance schematics/blueprints
Willing and able to work independently and as a team
Experience making reliability/maintenance decisions to meet needs

If a candidate has a degree, they will accept:
Associate/Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Instrumentation, Electronic Technology AND at least two (2) years of electrical/electronic and/or instrument & control troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment
OR a minimum of five (5) years with electrical instrument & controls / PLC trouble shooting, editing, and repair experience in a manufacturing environment (instrumentation skills can be taught).
