Must Haves: 1. min 1 year of TIG Welding 2. Min 1 year of Blueprint reading 3. Written instructions The candidate will be TIG welding threaded aluminum studs or clips to an aluminum drain body. Additional responsibilities would be studding the studs to the drain body and packing the drains in to corrugated boxes for shipment to the customer. The metal is Aluminum which has a lower temp to burn, so the candidate needs to be experience with Aluminum specifically. Candidate will need to learn how to use a Turntable weld, which is controlled by two foot pedals and can take a little bit to get comfortable. The process will require the welder to stud about 20 drain bodies, or when the gravity racks are filled, then the person will go to the welding booth and weld the studs. This will be the repeated process. No MIG or any other type of welding will be needed.
