Material Handler will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed to operate a forklift, available to work overtime hours during the busier times of the year as well as the last Saturday of each month.

Receive materials and/or finished goods on a daily basis, especially towards the end of each day

Effectiveness in this role also requires functional knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures

Employees are expected to operate several forklift trucks, any unwillingness to drive certain trucks will result in cancellation of their assignment.

Broken pallets are discarded, never used for customer shipments or storage within our four walls. When handling pallets they are not to be damaged.

Use RF scanner for 100% of transactions, picking errors will result in immediate disciplinary action and subject to cancellation of assignment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent attention to detail, able to verify the quality, type and amount of materials received are correct and that the appropriate documentation is present (e.g. packing list) * Prepare routine order picking and receiving documentation * Operate material handling equipment (e.g. standup forklift truck, reach forklift truck, sit-down forklift truck, hand truck, pallet jack, dock lever, etc.) * Prepare and ship materials and/or finished goods in a timely manner according to customer requirements

able to lift 50lbs. unassisted

preferred to previously have had a forklift certificate in the past 2 years

previous experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
