Maintenance Tech (Statesboro, GA)
$25-$35/hr; MUST be open to shift; 12 hour night shift (36/48; Unlimited OT)
Top Skills Details
Die Cast experience is ideal but certainly not required, though any molding experience is highly preferred. Hydraulic and electrical skills are a must. PLC/Ladder Logic a plus. Pneumatics is a plus but it's assumed they'll have it if they qualify otherwise.
Maintenance technicians will be working on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining die cast machines. They will use electrical and hydraulic skills and may be asked to troubleshoot PLC's and use ladder logic. On a daily basis they will do everything from major PM's (preventative maintenance) to full rebuilds of the machine.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be expert level in electrical and hydraulic skills. Skills needed include reading electrical and hydraulic schematics, work with wiring, 120v/480v/3 phase, transformers, acute relays, multimeters. Pneumatics is a plus. Ladder logic and PLC's is a plus.
Will be given a list of tasks for each shift that should be completed on time and safely. Emergency work orders will be priority, but PM's are critical to keeping machines running.
This is a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.

If staying on contract - can expense hotel (up to $105/night including taxes and fees), and if eligible (50+ miles from job site) will be given maximum per diem of $55/day for meals and incidentals (up to 7 days).
Must have own tools, though specialty tools will be provided.
5 panel drug screen, 7 year background.
No med. No certs.
PPE is safety glasses, steel toes, hearing protection, high vis vest.
Machines are down and causing a supply backup (they supply two other plants) resulting in millions of dollars lost production.
