Now hiring for traveling conveyor Field Service Team Lead / Foreman (4+ years Supervisor exp.). Can live or be home based in any state in the US, will be traveling extensively (85%+). Current location does not matter. (As long as by a large airport)

• Pay Rate: $30 - $38/hr. (depending on experience)
• Per Diem 7 days per week; Travel Time, Flights, Hotel and Car Rental all paid by company.
• Work schedule: 6 x 10 hr. days
• Travel schedule: 4-8 weeks with a week at home (paid / on-call)
• Direct hire position (fully-benefited employee)


Responsibilities:
• Complete understanding of “as-sold” scope of supply and performance requirements. Identifying when out of scope requests are received from on-site customer representatives.
• Coordinate and oversee mechanical / electrical installation crew of up to 10 personnel.
• Leadership role in managing pre-designed mechanical and electrical installations of specialized conveyor / material handling equipment.
• Ownership of customer reported issues and see those problems through to full resolution in complete coordination with Project Management.
• Ability to track and maintain onsite material. Daily reports will be needed to keep upper leadership informed of installation progress. Maintaining schedule will be paramount for this role.
• Comfortable proactively researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve any issues presented. Must be able to follow standard procedures for proper handoff of unresolvable issues to the appropriate internal teams in order to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Installation: Responsible for the onsite logistics and proper installation of kitted materials both mechanical and electrical, as per specs. Ability to read and understand Electrical Wiring Diagrams & Mechanical drawings. Ability to troubleshoot electrical Panels and field IO.
• Commissioning: Use and understand basic manufacturer provided software tools to configure and troubleshoot system equipment. Utilize pre-engineered checklists and manufacturer provided software to preform basic equipment configuration tasks.
• Communicate clear and concise plans with customer operations.
• Quality control and safety on all installations meets company, industry and regulatory agencies.
• The ability to forecast potential obstructions, offering solutions in advance to keep schedule.
• Prioritize and track nonconformance issues according to severity and escalate internally quickly to maintain project schedule.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and work to establish a positive rapport with every customer representative.

Qualifications:
• 4+ years working in site supervisory role and exhibits strong leadership traits.
• Electrical/PLC/Computer/Mechanical certification (a plus)
• Able to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
• Experience in automation, conveyors and artificial intelligence (a plus)
• Experience working in an industrial, commercial industrial controls environment.
• Ability to follow schematics and PLC logic to identify a problem.
• Must have strong mechanical, electrical and solution driven skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, read measure devices and blueprints; interpret schematics.
• Customer focused with good communication skills to provide professional, complete equipment service.
• Strong capabilities in using Microsoft Office.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and client-facing/customer service skills
• Must understand OSHA safety rules as well as industrial and electrical laws.
• TRAVEL: 85%+ travel (required)
