Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift (JP-002102098)

Coastal is looking for forklift operators to work in their warehouse and use stand up forklift and voice activated head sets to pull orders and stag for the following day. This role is from 9PM-6AM starting on Sunday night. They will always have Saturday night off and another day during the week. They will be pulling down pallets and getting them ready for the morning order selectors. They will be making sure all trucks are unloaded and/or trucks will be loaded for the following morning. it is 35 degrees in the warehouse and can be wet and cold. Shift: 9PM - until work is done. All Saturdays are off and then another day during the week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Stand up Forklift experience Must be comfortable working weekends. Candidates should be familiar/comfortable working in cold environments. First day: candidates will start with their trainer Sheldon on their first day. They will first ride with him while he selects his route and then Sheldon will watch them select their route. They can not start people on Thursdays as that is when they are busiest. Attendance - attendance is huge with them. they have a 2 hour call out policy. they need to call in to carlos at least 2 hours before their shift if they will not be there. they need to call them and then let us know as well. they also have a 90 day probationary period, if they miss more then 2 days in the first 90 then they will be terminated. Public transportation is not accessible at this site and also does not run on Sundays when they need to be at work.
