BHI Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's team. This individual will work as part of a multi-disciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop new digital system designs and the transition of those designs into qualified hardware.
- Integrate mixed signal electronics design, architecture planning, backplanes, system level design and high density PWAs. .
- Develop and improve new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for customers using Allegro (ORCAD) Capture and PSPICE.
Education/Qualifications:
- BS degree in electrical engineering, MS a plus
- 15+ years of experience in Mixed Signal electronics design
- Experienced Digital designer
- Experience with Architecture planning and system level design
- Comfortable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE
- Familiarity with single point ground concept
- Familiar with circuit noise suppression techniques
- Experience with high speed digital design techniques
- Experienced in the design of serial communications with differential drivers and receivers
- Familiar with full range of lab instrumentation and testing
- Requisition components and support PWA assembly
- Experience designing with discrete transistor circuits
- Support prototype builds
- An existing U.S. Security Clearance is desired.
