We want YOU to join our rapidly growing semiconductor team located in the Hillsboro area. Our company is state-of-the-art, and this is an entry-level position – WE TRAIN SKILLS. We are looking for individuals that want to develop a skill set within the semiconductor industry and pride themselves on attendance, a willingness to learn and an ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures. This is a direct production role and will require physical activity throughout the entire shift. Candidates must also be comfortable in PPE including but not limited to full cleanroom garments, respirator, protective shielding and handwear, steel toed shoes or boots. The production technician will be tasked with cleaning, coating and servicing chamber parts and metallic componentry within the semiconductor industry.
Strictly adhere to all corporate employee health and safety, quality, HR, and site protocols and procedures.Read and understand written work instructions and procedures assuring that each step of the prescribed procedure is annotated as complete when finished.Use personal protection equipment, including hearing protection, safety glasses or face shields, chemical resistant aprons and gloves as required.Handle potentially hazardous materials, following appropriate manufacturing and safety procedures.Clean parts using a combination of cleaning techniques, including but not limited to mechanical cleaning and chemical cleaning equipment.Use and help to maintain processing equipment, including media blasters, solvent benches, ultrasonic tanks, ovens, etc.Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing appropriate cleanroom garments and following stringent micro-contamination protocols.Package clean parts for shipment in full accordance to stringent specifications.Ensure work area, equipment and tools are clean and properly maintained.We are looking for a qualified individual with a good track record. Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions.Comfortable in hands-on production work including but not limited to grabbing, twisting, lifting, turning, manipulating, stretching, placing parts.Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Willingness and ability to wear personal protective equipment and other cleanroom attire for the duration of the shift, as required. This includes full cleanroom garments in addition to eventually wearing a respirator for 1-2 hours at a time continually.Ability to pass required drug screening and background check.Ability to eventually transition into a compressed work schedule containing 12 hours shifts.This is a safety sensitive position; ability to maintain the appropriate standards is required.Ability to maintain a clean-shaven appearance in order to fulfill safety requirements/respirator requirements.• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
