Dispatcher is responsible for the day to day routing of trucks for shipment
Organize and route trips based on schedule and location to ensure optimal fleet performance
Provide assistance to drivers with issues related to trip performance
Establish and maintain effective communication with drivers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational skills

This position is fast paced. Must be good at multi-tasking and attention to detail.
Must be good with computers (Word and Excel)Must know geographic locations on a map
Must be trainable and eager to learn 

Skilled in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications
Must be able to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
Must have the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.
Must have the ability to read printed materials and a computer screen, good hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
