CNC Machinist (2nd and 3rd shift)

Salary: $55K - $60K
Location: St. Louis, MO.
Hours: 2nd Shift 3:15 p.m. -11:45 p.m. or 3rd Shift 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
Benefits: Company Provided (health, vision, dental, PTO and 401K).

Description: The CNC Machinist is responsible to perform duties required to set up and adjust a variety of machines such as drill press, engine lathe, turret lathe, NC lathe, and machining center to perform established and standard machining operations to produce parts such as volutes, butterfly valve bodies and disks, impellers, etc., utilizing brass, Lewmet, cast iron, or stainless steel. Also, must deburr parts.

Responsibilities:

• Focus Area: Operate machine to prove-out setup and produce pilot work piece for inspection.
• Focus Area: Work from complex blueprints, part drawings, specifications, setup instructions, etc.
• Focus Area: Work on multi-tooled arrangements that have several operations where very close dimensional relations are important.
• Focus Area: Diagnose machine or tooling malfunction and make the proper and corrective adjustments.

Education and Qualifications:

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that can perform the objectives above.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist preferred (set up/operator).
• Experience working with Fanuc controls.
