Test Technician II - $21/hr!

We are looking for a Test Technician 2 to join us in Austin, TX!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform the assembly, set-up, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic, electro-mechanical, and automation systems and machines to meet the production schedule
Functionally tests and troubleshoots semiconductor manufacturing equipment to component level.
Provide input and recommendations to Management and other team members on improvement opportunities based on data and observations
Utilizes both manual and automated tests to perform system level testing to ensure product quality and reliability in accordance with company specifications
Works cooperatively on project work team; documents and communicates actions, irregularities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communications skills and computer literacy is essential
Must have a sense of urgency and the ability to stay on schedule
Must have the ability to work well with coworkers
Ability to work 2nd shift or Weekend shift
Punctual, dependable, and the ability to work extended shifts and/or weekend shifts with short notice
Extensive knowledge of trouble shooting skills, quality, and process orientation
Good understanding of test fixtures and equipment

Educational/Certification Requirement:

Associate's Degree or Bachelors in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Automation or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience:

2-4 years experience in a Manufacturing Test Environment with general knowledge of Vacuum & Pneumatic technologies.

Ability to Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move object.
Ability to move arms, hands and fingers.
Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.

Environmental Exposure:

Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals.
Required to wear personal protective equipment.
