Edgewater is looking for a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert for Parsons-SWPF with DOE experience for an assignment in Aiken, SC. Required education and experience are as follows:

Duration – 1 year

Clearance required – No

US citizenship required – Yes

Exempt or Non-Exempt – Exempt

Closing date – 05/31/2017

Cyber Security SME Role:
To support boundary continuous monitoring, evaluate processes & documentation for improvement/revision, plan implementation & upgrade and test strategy, facilitate vulnerability and patch management to ensure DOE 205.1B and RMAIP compliance required to sustain or achieve Authority to Operate (i.e. network accreditation).

Responsibilities include:
Interact/collaborate with IS Manager, Information System Security Officer and Network Security Team as a Senior Cyber Analyst to maintain and participate in the development and enhancement of security policies, process and procedures related to federal regulatory frameworks including NIST; participate in configuration management and change control tasks; facilitate risk assessments and support security training awareness as needed. Interaction with system administrators, application developers, corporate boundary personnel interface with corporate and project disciplines, and with client cyber principals representing DOE SR 7 Environmental Management Cyber personnel will be required.
