This position will serve the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN.

Position will be in support of various Industrial Hygiene work across the Y-12 complex.
IH support will include noise sampling, confined space sampling, daily job coverage, chemical hygiene walkdowns, hazard analysis recognition, attend meetings, interface with facility managers and craft, and other IH support as required.
Shall be able to use judgement in carrying out assignments and work independently to evaluate and apply technical concepts to solve daily problems.
Participating in monitoring the company's health standards in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; evaluating and interpreting current regulations and assisting in compliance.
Perform assigned tasks according to detailed instructions and established policies and procedures.
Ensure controls required to mitigate identified hazards are implemented.
Assist others by providing industrial hygiene, environmental and hazard material support.
Assist in processing complex and difficult hygiene analyses by a variety of methodologies an using a wide range of laboratory equipment and instruments.
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience (15+ preferred).
Active Q-clearance is required.
Candidates who have a ‘reinstateable’ clearance ( have completed a reinvestigation within the last five years) are also encouraged to apply.
