Procedure Solutions Management, LLC (PSM) is seeking a Construction Manager for a 1 year project for an energy company in Covington, OK


Responsible for coordinating and managing construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site.
Responsible to assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality and safety performance on the project.
Responsible to manage walk downs of planned work, validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements, approve contractor payment requests, verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocations, assess field status and resolve issues as needed.
Responsible for scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, schedules and work in progress to ensure Construction Supervisors are effectively implementing their assignments and obtaining the desired results.
Provides leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce, communicating departmental, station and division goals and validating each performer’s ability to impact those goals.

Additional Job Specs

Oversee all civil, equipment, communication and electrical work on the collection system to ensure it is being done in a quality manner and following EOR and OEM specifications
Responsible for trenching, cable installation, cable management, splices, PMT setting, junction box setting, cross bonding and all terminations associated to 34.5 kV
Execute Request For Information (RFI) process
Oversee cable and fiber testing per specifications
Perform assigned QAQC and assigned NextEra Verification Validation checks
Interface with utilities and regulating entities for crossing agreements
Develop & oversee site lock-out /tag-out procedure
Coordinate & monitor electrical contractor’s work
Monitor / audit contractor's quality and safety programs
Coordinate & monitor all cable, fiber and ground testing
Identify any deficiencies (design, quality, schedule, work)
Review / accept contractor work and documentation
Monitor contractor work progress & performance to support invoice and milestone validation
Evaluate & assess all scope change claims for validity
Execute Request For Information (RFI) process
Ensure redlines are being updated on a daily basis
Coordinate with HV technician and contractor pre-energization circuit walk down
Write proper energization and turnover notifications
Develop and track punch list items
Compliance to OSHA and jobsite rules


MUST be willing to travel and work 60+ hours per week work plus holidays
MUST be proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with Primavera is preferred
MUST understanding general knowledge of environmental best management practice standards
MUST be experienced with 34.5Kv splicing and cable termination
Must be familiar with cable trenching
Must have experience with fiber installation, connecting and testing
Must be able to work with team


BS: Electrical Engineering
3-5 years of experience in construction supervisor role
Detailed self-performing knowledge of transmission line installation work
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills; communicate well with landowners and contractors
Highly self-motivated
