As the Project Manager/Lead, candidate will be required to supervise a diverse work crew responsible for performance of corrective and preventative maintenance checks and services for facility maintenance, janitorial services, grounds maintenance, road prepping and clearing, maintaining and repairing targeting systems for indoor and outdoor firing ranges, construction of training aides, maintenance of power equipment, and establishing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Software tracking Program. Maintenance tasks include carpentry, pipefitting, HVAC, electrical up to 480 volts, painting, heavy equipment operations, and minor construction. Targeting systems are both pneumatic and manual and consist of steel and wooden target assemblies. Normal work schedule is Monday-Friday, from 0700 hours to 1530 hours, with on-call support to provide emergency services 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
Ability to lead and manage a multifaceted work crew; creating work plans, making work assignments, work tracking, and interpersonal skills required for managing personnel
Strong written and oral communications skills, serving as the technical lead and primary point of contact with the client
Strong organizational skills including planning, creating and tracking schedules, and creating and tracking budgets
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and technical documents
Fundamental knowledge of various electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
Ability to identify and troubleshoot complex problems by reviewing technical information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Ability to establish work schedules for assigned maintenance personnel to support client priorities
•High school diploma/GED required.Technical degree preferred but not required.
•Military background preferred not required
•Preventive Corrective Maintenance Scheduler experience required.
•Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience including three (3) years of facility maintenance experience.
•Experience working for the Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) preferred but not required.
Location: Knoxville, TN area
