Nuclear Instrument Technician

Ontario, NY


A 2-week Nuclear Instrument Outage opportunity is available in Ontario, NY at the Ginna Nuclear Power Plant. The outage has already started on Oct.22, but there is now a need for 4 additional techs. If possible, start by Monday the 29th or asap. The outage is scheduled to run through November 10th, working 6 X 12 hour days.
All technicians must have strong nuclear working experience with instrumentation and clear a security background check for working in the industry.
Scope of work includes working on switches, levels, radar, pressure and temperature transmitters and other instruments with 10-50mA output, 4-20mA and pneumatics. Five point calibration tests are the plant standard. Technicians will support I&E department with full I&E repairs/calibrations.
Hourly Rate, O.T., per diem and mobilization/demobilization will be paid.
