EGS, Inc. is recruiting for our client, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. They are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with Federal Government experience (NAVFAC, USACE, USCG, US Air Force, etc.). Travel is required.
Construction Project Manager Qualifications
• Two to eight years of experience managing construction objectives
• Superior communication and presentation skills required for project meetings
• Able to identify and interpret applicable codes, industry standards, and technical specifications
• Capable of reading building plans
• Proficient in MS-Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and P-6 Scheduling
• Experience with e4Clicks estimating software is a plus
• Prior experience with construction related documentation (e.g. method statements, obstruction notices, safety briefings, accident reports, progress reports, test reports, etc)

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities Include (but no limited too)
• Locate & manage local installation subcontractors and suppliers including the review, approval and submittal of invoices, SOW definition and issuing subcontracts/PO’s
• Manage multiple projects between $100K and $1.0M
• Interface with customers and attend local project meetings
• Conduct meetings with Owners
• Maintain and communicate schedules
• Generate, review and/or submit installation related documentation
• Coordination with Engineering to ensure product specifications are met and to resolve any technical issues
• Coordination with project superintendent.
• Routine progress reporting with Senior Management
• Oversight and confirmation of applicable building, environmental and safety code compliance
• Coordination and participation in commissioning and testing of equipment
• Safety oversight
