Provide programming support to Site Trainings Web-Based Training group by utilizing authoring software (courseware, graphics, audio, video) and ancillary scripting language (JavaScript, VB, JQuery, AJAX, ASP.NET, C#, etc.) to publish on-line courses used for training various disciplines at Savannah River Site (SRS).
Current courseware is independent of a Learning Management System (LMS) and utilizes an Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) connection to both MS Access and Oracle databases. SRS is pursuing an LMS at this time and will utilize standard compliances (SCORM, AICC, XAPI, etc.) in the delivery of on-line training. Duties will also include repurposing the current platform of courseware to the LMS compliance.
Communicate with training program owners to manage the design, development and implementation of courseware required to comply with their training needs within their associated discipline (regulatory, radiological, maintenance, operations, quality assurance, etc.).
Provide any other additional support required to maintain the quality of development and delivery of on-line training at SRS.


High School Degree and 12 years of relevant experience producing e-learning content and web development.
Associates Degree and 8 years of relevant experience producing e-learning content and web development.
Bachelors Degree and 4 years of relevant experience producing e-learning content and web development.

If you are not currently qualified as a SRS Instructional Technologist per the Instructional Staff Training and Qualification Program Description, you must enroll in the program upon initial employment.

A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes varies work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week) and 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B) Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
