DUTIES: The subcontractor shall provide software development and maintenance support primarily for the PeopleSoft Finance Supply Chain Management software modules and ancillary support for the PeopleSoft Human Resource Management software modules. The subcontractor will be responsible for performing assigned production support problem tickets which require working with customer to replicate problem and may involve research and coding modifications to support the PeopleSoft production operations. Tasks will require effective and professional communication skills (both written and oral) when interacting with information technology (IT) staff and customers. Act as a mentor to SRNSs IT staff by:
Sharing insights and prior lessons learned from previous PeopleSoft experience.
Providing and teaching knowledge about PeopleSoft development tools to accelerate the learning curve and ability of junior SRNS staff to support PeopleSoft modules.
Adhere to all required SRNS IT protocols and standards in the development and support of enterprise computer system applications. Be available on site during normal business hours for questions, resolve problems, etc. This position may require some rotational 24 x 7 oncall coverage to support the PeopleSoft applications, as well as occasionally use of a flexible work schedule which may include some overtime (OT) or schedule adjustment as needs arise to support ongoing system operations such as financial month end or yearend closing, and PeopleSoft Upgrade Manager (PUM) Image upgrades. Generate electronic weekly status reports to IT lead and subcontract technical representative (STR). Subcontractor should be able to work with little to no direction to complete assigned software development / maintenance tasks and system / process analyst tasks. Be able to produce quality, easily maintainable application code.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education:
Position requires a 4year degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5 years proven performance in information technology assignment or a 4year degree in nonrelated field with 7 years proven performance.
Subcontractor must have a minimum of five years of experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft Finance Supply Chain Management software applications and be familiar with Finance modules (primarily General ledger, Project Costing) and Supply Chain management modules (Inventory, Service Procurement, Procurement). Be proficient in PeopleSoft development technologies under version 9.2, PeopleTools 8.56 or higher and supporting PeopleSoft Application with: Application Designer, Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, Application Engine, Work Flow, and SQR. Subcontractor Must have experience with implementation, customization and support of Fluid pages. Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel) is necessary. Subcontractor shall have experience with Oracle relational database management systems.
Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll, Benefits processing Familiarity with configuration management tool, STAT. Familiarity with the text editor tool, UltraEdit. Experience applying PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) images - both full and selective adoption.
A 40hour work week is scheduled. Subcontractor must work all 40 hours onsite to be readily available to IT professionals and customers. A set schedule on work days/hours will be determined upon subcontractors arrival; preferred options are either 5x8 hour days or 9x80 shift (9 hour days, every other Friday off, Fridays worked is an 8hour day) or 4x10 shift. Each work day has a 30minute unpaid lunch. As stated in the duties, work hours will require flexibility to work weekends and off hours (as OT or schedule adjustment) during rotational, on-call assignments and to support payroll processing, month end and year end closing and any PeopleSoft upgrade projects. Normal start time is between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
Area Security Access: Security Requirements: Candidates must be US citizens. A security clearance is not initially required but the issuance of a DOE uncleared badge will be required. (Candidates must be capable of obtaining an L clearance if required to perform assigned duties
