Currently hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for its Mt. Vernon, IN facility. The QA Technician will
work under the direct supervision of the Quality Manager to ensure that all technical and quality requirements of
assigned contracts are met and properly documented. This goal will be accomplished by performing the following
Responsible for preparation of quality documents that ensure company and customer quality requirements
Assist with internal and supplier audits to assure customer requirements are being met
Identify problem areas and recommend solutions to audit findings and observations
Organize own work patterns toward accomplishment of stated objectives
Create and revise data sheets, procedures, quality documents etc.
Prepare routine reports, meeting minutes; develop forms for formal external and internal reports and
File creation and maintenance
Information research (Code books, vendors, etc.)
Send fax, copy, print documents
Other office related tasks as assigned to support engineering activities
Schedule and coordinate meetings, training classes
Prepare purchase requisitions as requested
Contract file maintenance
The successful candidate should have an Associate's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience (Bachelor's
degree preferred) and experience with manufacturing processes such as welding, machining and assembly and
possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
This is a contract position located in Mt. Vernon, IN. Local candidates will only be considered.
