Education: Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in Mechanical Engineering from a four year accredited college or university.

Experience: 10 years of engineering and design experience developing modification packages for various building services (HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection) systems serving nuclear power plants. The successful candidate must be able to perform hydraulic calculations, ductwork sizing and piping pressure drop calculations to support building services equipment sizing and selections. Must be capable of developing design and procurement specifications, system design descriptions, airflow and riser diagrams. Must be able to develop material and work-hour estimates and engineering and design schedules. Must be able to obtain unescorted access into a nuclear power plant. Must be familiar with nuclear standards and guidelines. Must have good communication skills and experience working in multi-discipline project team environment.

Preferred: Professional engineering license and field experience at a nuclear power plant preferred.

&#61558; Candidate will be working as part of a team of engineers and designers at the Nuclear Plant working on plant modification packages.
&#61558; Candidate must complete complex design and engineering assignments including calculation and specification development, preparation of work packages including providing input to new building services (HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection) drawings and modifications to existing plant drawings.
&#61558; The candidate will exercises sound judgment in assessing problem situations or complex issues, review completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and design data, coordinate the efforts of the group with other discipline groups on the same project.
