Wisconsin based NRC Approved Construction Project – Competitive Intelligence and Analytics Manager

SHINE is immediately seeking a Competitive Intelligence & Analytics Manager to join our Strategy team and play a critical role in an entrepreneurial environment to build the Company’s quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive sales and new product strategy. The role will report to the Chief Strategy Officer. As a fast-growing, technology-oriented company with strong resources, there is ample opportunity for career advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the Company’s competitive intelligence and business analytic needs by leading data gathering, processing, and reporting of the industry and market environment
Build and manage a small team of researchers and intelligence gatherers
Establish a system to efficiently gather and disseminate industry and market intelligence through trade shows and databases
Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research to aid the evaluation and positioning of new products
Build financial models to assist in the evaluation of all kinds of business growth initiatives including new products, production facilities and sales agreements
Effectively communicate findings to Management and Executive Team
Support Corporate Strategy and a variety of innovative growth initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong business acumen and research / financial analysis skills
Excel and modeling skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and timely follow-through
Exemplary business ethics and integrity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize, and manage many projects from multiple sources while maintaining attention to quality and accuracy
Bachelor’s Degree in business, statistics, research, or other related disciplines
2-5 years of relevant work experience or, if no prior work experience, relevant internships or relevant student experience
Ability to travel
Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, to drive growth

Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls. Additionally, applicant’s eligibility may be conditioned based upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
