Principle Subcontract Technical Representative
The successful candidate will manage NWP construction oversight, as assigned, on a daily basis and support the oversight of various service contracts as requested or assigned. Attend contractor safety briefings and planning meetings.
Review and request approvals on contractor safety plans, schedules, and other contract required plans and deliverables.
Review and route for approval all contractor submittals. Coordinate requests and needs between NWP departments.
Assist in scheduling all work through the plan of the day.
Must understand technical drawings and contract management.
Will be required to acquire identified qualifications to hold position and be able to pass an oral board within 12 months of assuming job.
Must have strong communication skills, the proven ability to form and lead teams of diverse technical backgrounds to conduct assessments and be able to clearly document results.
Must have a clear understanding of safety requirements that pertain to construction activities.
The candidate must be a self-starter, and able to recognize and suspend or stop unsafe acts.
Bachelors degree with two (2) years of experience or
Associates degree with six (6) years of experience or
High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of experience managing or providing oversight for construction activities is required.
Ten (10) plus years in a construction, safety or project management area is preferred.
Previous experience working in a nuclear facility and/or Department of Energy experience a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or other industry specific training preferred.
Previous Mining experience is desired.
