Control Account Manager / Project Control

Waseyabek Federal Services is hiring a Control Account Manager.
The Control Account Manager (CAM) will be responsible for schedule planning and status, measurement of accomplishments, actual cost collection, variance analysis and resultant corrective action. The CAM is responsible for preparation and presentation of monthly project reporting to include metrics such as Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), Estimate at Completion and project performance. The CAM is responsible for managing the point where technical scope, schedule and budgets are integrated. Executes Project Management responsibilities for their respective discipline/project area of responsibility to deliver the end-result of the project scope. Perform assigned responsibilities and support through the completion of assigned projects, with primary emphasis on deliverables associated with control account management and delivering on time and within budget. Develops work packages and PPs to identify CA tasks, start and completion dates, time-phased budget spreads, resource requirements, and EV techniques. Implements schedule activities and durations and map each activity to its “parent” work package or PP in the schedule application system database. Verifies scope, schedule, and budget traceability.

•Experience working in the DOE or equivalent industry, with extensive experience in Project Management as it pertains to their specific discipline
•Five years of relevant experience required
•Sound communication skills to effectively interface with internal and external customers.
•Able to work well in the field and take ownership of assigned projects.
•Able to work with groups to provide overlapping support to other projects while possibly working on several assigned tasks.
•Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical personnel both verbally as well as in writing.
•Able to expand skill set beyond own discipline to include understanding of all aspects of Project Management.

•Bachelor’s Degree
•Minimum of 5-7 years of Project Management experience
•Five (5) years’ experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), DOE O 413.3B, Critical Decision (CD) and DOE Capital Asset Projects.
•Knowledge of project management financial controls and systems.
•Understands the roles, responsibilities, authority and accountability of project team members.
•Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.
•Previous WIPP Project experience is a plus
