Records Analyst (RMS)
Location: Carlsbad, NM

The WIPP Records Archive Records Analyst is responsible for the WIPP Records Management Process program. The individual is the secondary point of contact (to the CRM) for all records management issues at WIPP. Oversees RM Processes in active records system, inactive records systems, and records retention. Performs as a backup to the Certified Records Manager for WIPP Records.
1.Training or previous experience in Documentum or another Electronic Records Management Software.
2.Strong Microsoft Office skills.
3.Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4.Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel. Strong organization and planning skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DUTIES:
1.Certified Records Administrator designation with 5 years of experience in Department of Energy Records Management preferred.
2.Due to the nature of the work, must be a US Citizen.
3.Preferred: BA/BS degree in related field.
4.Provides assistance to technical guidance in creating, maintenance and storage of all WIPP records.
5.Creates and implements records and information management processes that meet NARA and DOE requirements.
6.Assists in managing subcontractors to digitize, store and perform quality control on digitized records.
7.Performs record retrievals.
8.Assist DOE with records management process as required.
9.Assist in the creation and management of the Records Coordinator’s training program.
10.Assist with IT staff to evaluate and recommend electronic records management.
11.Support site audits and assessments.
12.Assist with yearly internal assessment and submits report to Subcontract Technical Representative.
13.Provide back up in deliverable of monthly reporting.
14.Must be able to travel in support of various contract or corporate activities when needed.
