TITLE: Sr. Project Manager - IT/Cybersecurity
DUTIES: Provide staff augmentation personnel to support the Plutonium (Pu) Sustainment Program and National Nuclear Security Association (NNSA) Capital Projects mission being performed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), LLC. The primary focus of these support efforts will be to assist in the development, preparation and operation of the Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security processes associated with the Pu Sustainment Program and NNSA Capital Projects. SRNS will draw on the support personnels experience and expertise. Personnel must ensure inclusion of all IT systems (classified and unclassified) related to communications, work processes, business processes, product and material tracking, product quality, and information management are planned for and executed in the design phase for NNSA Capital Projects
The Sr. Cybersecurity Project Manager will
Develop appropriate strategies and plans to achieve the scope.
Conduct strategic planning efforts based on requirements from NNSA, Cybersecurity, Nuclear Enterprise Assurance, and Counterintelligence requirements.
Engage stakeholders and solicit input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the strategic planning efforts.
Identify the necessary CIO organization and its elements and set up of the appropriate staffing levels with SMEs from the nuclear security enterprise and relevant industries.
Demonstrate understanding of classified and unclassified cybersecurity needs and the ability to work with Derivative Classifiers, Records Management, Cybersecurity, and other data and security related organizations
Possess ability to define scope of technical programs and development of an effective and efficient solution to challenges which involve unique or controversial problems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Citizen
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems (or equivalent major) and 10 years of IT-related positions OR combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Experience in managing Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity (Cyber) programs on DOE 413.3b capital asset projects >$1B
Experience utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, and earned value management systems (EVMS).
Experience performing project management activities such as cost estimating, resource planning, and reports.
Experience in implementing IT, Cyber, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) systems.
Experience in developing, maintaining, and facilitating the implementation of a sound and integrated IT architecture and IT and Cyber programs, monitoring the performance of the IT/Cyber programs, evaluating the performance of those programs based on measures, and advising project and facility heads regarding changes needed to the program.
WORK HOURS: A 40-hour work week is scheduled; however, the specific work schedule will be established based upon the project needs. [SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 4/10s (10 hours/day, 4 days per week), 5/8s (8 hour/day; five days per week) and, 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Workweek excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has an unpaid 30-minute lunch.]
Minimal offsite travel may be required.
AREA SECURITY ACCESS: An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance. After award, the selected uncleared candidate may be required to apply for a DOE clearance.
