[QC Inspector] QC Electrical/I&C Inspector (IPC-A-WHMMA-610 and 620) - Nuclear Construction

System One is looking for an experienced Electrical/I&C QC Inspector for a long-term project in Waynesboro, GA.

1. Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Inspector, Electrical/I&C Level II or III

2. Job Location: Vogtle 3&4, Construction site (field work, exposure to heat/cold)

3. Desired Qualifications: ANSI Level II or Level III Electrical/I&C Quality Control Inspector Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Technical Scope

Current I&C ANSI N45.2.6 certified preferred (Proof of certification needed), prior certification will be considered as well. Documented work experience (OJT) signed by a Level II or III will be required for consideration for this position.
Currently certified or able to certify to IPC-A-WHMMA-610 and 620
Familiar with fiber optic technologies
Familiar with I&C hardware technologies
Familiar with special processes such as crimping, soldering, torqueing, and industry accepted installation practices
Digital I&C system expertise and knowledge
Experience with Emerson Ovation highly desired
Experience with Advant AC160 / Common Q controls
Experience with inspection and startup of digital instrumentation and controls
Other

Support field inspections and document results as required by the quality program
Ability to support night shift as needed for testing and project inspections
Work package review for insertion and completion of hold points
Participate in acceptance testing, assessments and inspections supporting digital I&C systems
Participate and lead efforts pertaining to I&C inspection planning
4. Does this assignment have any physical requirements: Yes, climbing, prolonged standing ladder climbing, uneven surfaces

5. Is this position supporting a Government Related Project? No

6. Does this position require unescorted access to the protected area of a nuclear plant? Yes

7. Estimated Start Date: ASAP

8. Estimated Duration of Work Assignment (should not exceed 1 year): 1 year
