IT Specialist VI (Industrial Control Systems)

Pay Range: $39-$66/hr

TFE is seeking an IT Specialist VI (Industrial Control Systems) to provide support for one of our clients.
1.Familiarity with risk assessments and processes to include the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
2.Solid understanding of DOE orders
3.Knowledge of ICS Security Governance
4.Basic understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-malware products, forensics tools, vulnerability scanners and directory services
5.Basic understanding of PLC and SCADA platforms
6.Understanding of virtualized and physical computer systems
7.Skilled in oral and written communications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DUTIES:
1.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other relevant discipline and 10+ years of experience in IT preferred; or Associate’s degree or technical diploma/degree in Information Technology and 14+ years of relevant experience in IT; or 18+ years of Enterprise level IT experience in an administration, support and/or oversight capacity.
2.1-3 years of professional experience
3.Experience working with industrial equipment
4.Exposure to industry cyber security standards (NIST 8QD-53, 800-82, etc.)
5.Ability to balance multiple projects with prioritization guidance
6.Ability to identify issues, create solutions and meet deadlines
7.Strong interpersonal, collaboration
8.Ability to recognize and establish priorities and provide timely deliverables and consult relevant sources, including technical documentation, subject matter experts and project personnel, to obtain information
9.Works under general direction.
10.Has system-wide responsibility on complex projects and components.
11.Provides direction for projects.
12.Plans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies.
13.Solves medium to highly technical, complex problems on multiple projects, and provides consultative support to internal staff.
14.Assists with the transfer of knowledge of technical skills.
15.Viewed as a subject matter expert within the organization.
16.Acts as a mentor to less senior IT staff
17.Leads, directs and trains team members on information systems in areas including application support, software engineering, software quality assurance and quality control, business analysis or database administration.
18.Analyzes, diagnoses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets, exhibiting thorough familiarity with available methods, procedures, tools, equipment and standards associated with own area of specialization within information systems.
19.Performs work that requires the application of a significant range of fundamental information systems principles in a variety of contexts while demonstrating strong leadership.
20.Performs work in a technical lead capacity and makes decisions that require the application of a significant range of fundamental principles in a wide and often unpredictable variety of contexts.
21.May be required to be in an on-call status to be able to promptly respond to and address user/customer needs
